Ristorante Sole, Vienna

The “Ristorante Sole” in Vienna’s city center, known for its illustrious guests from culture and politics and its Italian retro flair has commissioned Zeisner Design 2020 to carefully redesign parts of the interior. These included checkroom, lighting, signage and toilets. Zeisner Design perfectly integrated the new details into the existing design and radically renewed the bathrooms: Inspired by the restaurant’s cuisine, which blends northern and southern Italian flavors, Daniel Zeisner chose the materials and colors accordingly: For the walls he used glazed tiles with light colour differences that convey the famous craftsmanship of the Italian south. Floor tiles made of Cepo die Gré, the stone so fondly used in Milanese pallazi, complete the Italian feel.

Glamorous rooms bathed in pink pastels for the ladies and a dark green mancave for the gentlemen, both furnished with exclusive gold details and perfect lighting, create a sense of Italian Grandezza no matter where one is in the restaurant.
